From September 15th, 2023-January 7th, 2024, the Antonio Pérez Foundation, Cuenca, in collaboration with Casa de América, Madrid, presents Cosmovisión del Color, a wide selection of Esteban Lisa works ranging from 1954-1977, at Centro de Arte La Plazuela de Sigüenza.
The works on display belong to the series Space Acts (1954-1957) and Games with Lines and Colors (1959-1977), mature works that incorporate a complex set of symbols, strokes, and compositional elements that break with any defined geometric structure. The compositions can be considered gestural abstraction.
