Costa Rican-born artist Priscilla Monge (b. 1968) investigates the relationship of power and hierarchies in quotidian relationships. Using a wide variety of mediums spanning from photography, film, sculpture, to installations, her art explores the complex relation between love and aggression using humor and cynicism as tools for connoting the imperceptible violence in everyday life.
