"A census of the elusive, a cartography of Argentine artists in New York
who challenge the notion of fixed identity.
The Argentine International brings together artists who push the boundaries of painting, sculpture, photography, and installation, exploring memory, time, and the transformation of form. From the poetic geometries of Cecilia Biagini to the hybrid “paintants” of Fabián Marcaccio, the suspended scenes of Liliana Porter, and the biotechnological explorations of Sabrina Merayo Núñez, this exhibition is an impossible record: a collection of presences in transit.
Is it possible to census what is in constant motion? In The Argentine International, art is not confined to numbers or labels but unfolds in a network of relationships, dialogues, and displacements—where friendship emerges as a force of artistic and political resilience.
A meeting point between history, speculation, and community."
