HM&C Artist Juan Sánchez @ "Staking Claim: Latinx Art and US American Experiences" @ the National Gallery of Art

On Friday, January 20th, the National Gallery of Art is hosting this year's Wyeth Foundation for American Art Symposium titled "Staking Claim: Latinx Art and US American Experiences." The event, which highlights the complexities of Latinx art in the United States, will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m online and in-person.​​​​​​​​​

This symposium is organized by the Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts in close collaboration with E. Carmen Ramos, Chief Curatorial and Conservation Officer at the National Gallery of Art, and Adriana Zavala, Andrew W. Mellon Professor at the Center and Associate Professor of History of Art and Architecture and Studies in Race, Colonialism, and Diaspora at Tufts University.
